The staff of Search and Rescue Service Under EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan marked glorious dates of 2015: 25th Anniversary of EMERCOM of Russia and 20th Anniversary of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan. In a festive atmosphere employees awarded the distinguished, honored veterans and the memory of died in the line of duty.

Chief of the Department of People’s Safety on Water Objects of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan – Main State Inspector for Small Vessels of the Republic of Tatarstan, Yuri Venediktov, told that according to the forecast of Office for Hydrometeorology and Environment Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan, sudden thaw up to five degrees above zero is expected during this week.

Within two days, 6 people, including 4 children, were poisoned by carbon monoxide on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Preliminary causes were faulty geyser and absence of draught in geyser in enclosed space.

Results of the first stage of Children and Youth Arts Competition on Fire Safety were concluded in Nizhnekamsk District and City Department of Tatarstan Regional Department of All-Russian Voluntary Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On December 18, festive opening of a new fire station for two departures was held in the village of Ubey of Drozhzhanovsky District with the participation of Chairman of State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Akhmetov and Head of Drozhzhanovsky Municipal District, Aleksandr Shadrikov.

Incidents as of December 20:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 52 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2,  singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 17. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, including 2 in residential sector, outhouses – 6, construction trailer – 1. 3 people died, 1 person was rescued.

Incidents as of December 17:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 66 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3,  singed meal – 4, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 13 fires, including 5 in residential sector.

Before the professional holiday on December 27, Russian Federation’s Rescuer’s Day, a festive event was held. It was dedicated to two jubilee dates of 25th Anniversary of EMERCOM of Russia and 20th Anniversary of EMERCOM of Tatarstan.

Incidents as of December 17:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 71 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 29, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0,  singed meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 16. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, including 6  in residential sector. 4 people were injured.

On December 16, 2015, a private bath-house burned because of violation of fire safety rules during heating furnace use in the village of Ulyankovo of Kaybitsky Municipal District. Voluntary Fire Unit of VFS “Ulyankovo” consisting of one person with ARS-14 arrived to the scene. Thanks to efficient actions of volunteers a barn and a residential house were defended from the fire.
