Rescuers Are on Duty Both on Holidays, and Weekdays

The staff of Search and Rescue Service Under EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan marked glorious dates of 2015: 25th Anniversary of EMERCOM of Russia and 20th Anniversary of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan. In a festive atmosphere employees awarded the distinguished, honored veterans and the memory of died in the line of duty. Chief of Search and Rescue Service Under EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilham Nasibullin spoke before the attendants. Not only he congratulated his colleagues with the professional holiday, but also concluded the work for 2015. The republican search and rescue service departed 2 357 times for liquidation of various accidents. SAR staff rescued 544 people.

From 190 SAR employees who were certified for rescue operations 60 people are 1st class rescuers, 75 people are 2nd class rescuers, and 38 people are 3rd class rescuers. According to the results of 2015, Zonal SAR Squad No. 4 Shemordan was accepted the best among zonal SAR squads. Chief of the squad was awarded with a Challenge Cup. The second place was taken by Zonal SAR Squad No. 5 Nizhnie Yaki, and Zonal SAR Squad No. 6 Naberezhnye Chelny took the third place.
