Commanders of fire department guards of the Federal Fire Service on the Republic of Tatarstan showed their theoretical experience on service performance and physical training in the course of the competition for the title of "The best commander of the guard of the Federal Fire Service units in the Republic of Tatarstan". The competition was held in Kazan on the basis of sports training complex of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan. Twenty-two representatives of the Federal Fire Service offices were competing for the title of the best of the best in a fair fight.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 55 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 2, dry grass extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector. 1 person was rescued.

Residential sector (apartments, houses, outbuildings) still remains the most common place of fire. According to statistics, more than 80% of the fires of the total occur in housing. Stabilization of household fires, preventing deaths and injuries of people on fires — with these purposes, inspectors of Supervisory Department of Zelenodolsky Municipal District together with the staff of 8th FPS squad for the Republic of Tatarstan held preventive raids on low fire resistant homes.
On August 26 children of "Cherry" kindergarten visited the fire department number 56 of 15th FPS squad on the Republic of Tatarstan of N. Chelny. An excursion of the firehouse was organized for them. Rescuers told why they cannot play with fire, and if there occurs a fire, how to behave, what number should be dialed? The children asked a lot of questions. They were a great pleasure to try on fire gear, try to pump water out of the barrel. They were fun to watch how firefighters deftly climbed to the third floor of the training tower.

Today, a new fire station building of firehouse №114 of Federal Fire Service in the Republic of Tatarstan in village Old Drozhzhanoe was solemnly put into operation. An awarding UAZ-23632 UAZ Pickup and UAZ PATRIOT emergency vehicles to chiefs of zonal search and rescue teams of search and rescue service of RT attached to EMERCOM of RT also took place. The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildar Khalikov.
Today, within the framework of his working visit to Kamsko-Ustyinsky District Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildar Khalikov, visited the new building of the separate post of state institution "Fire Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan" in the village Syukeevo and wished firefighters less work.

Today, at 13 hrs 37 min (MSK) a single emergency number 112 has been informed that two fishermen whose self-made wooden boat with a motor had turned over were suffering a wreck in the middle of the river Kama in Mendeleevsk District. At 13 hrs 59 min GIMS employees of N. Chelny, state inspector R. R. Amzalov and the patrol boat captain of GIMS V. V. Kryuchkov, rescued the fishermen — they were picked up on the patrol boat and brought safely to the shore. But the self-made small boat of the fishermen sank along with all their belongings.
