GIMS Employees Rescued Two Fishermen on the Kama River

Today, at 13 hrs 37 min (MSK) a single emergency number 112 has been informed that two fishermen whose self-made wooden boat with a motor had turned over were suffering a wreck in the middle of the river Kama in Mendeleevsk District. At 13 hrs 59 min GIMS employees of N. Chelny, state inspector R. R. Amzalov and the patrol boat captain of GIMS V. V. Kryuchkov, rescued the fishermen — they were picked up on the patrol boat and brought safely to the shore. But the self-made small boat of the fishermen sank along with all their belongings.

Also, the task force headed by the chief of the fire department №86 FPS on RT went to the scene. Totally, 4 people and 2 vehicles from EMERCOM were involved in the rescue operation.
