Incidents for August 31:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 66 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, 4 of them in residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: arson – 1, carelessness when smoking – 1, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electric equipment use – 2, violation of fire safety rules during stove use – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 20 times. 2 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 12 times. Including: assistance – 8, preventive work and safety provision at mass activity – 4.

Today, the future first-graders — children of employees of the Central Office of EMERCOM of Russia for RT, the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT, as well as Kazan and Zelenodolsk garrisons of fire protection have become parties to the holiday "Hello, school!". 

Holiday for future first-graders passed in Naberezhnye Chelny on the territory of the fire station number 56 of the 15th squad of the Federal Fire Service of RT. It was attended by 43 children this year. They are all children of employees of the squad. The program was a tour of the firehouse, where the children were told about the work of a firefighter, spoke on the topic of safety at school and at home. Children had fun trying on fire gear, as well as using water supply from the trunk, shot down skittles. At the end of the holiday, all future first-graders received gifts that are sure to come in handy at school.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 25 times. 2 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 9 times. Including: rescue operation on the water – 1, safety provision at mass activity – 2, traffic accident – 1, fallen trees sawing – 2, searching for lost in forest – 1, others – 4.

In the frame of the Month of Safety of Children, on August 30 there was hold an ecological clean in the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan. Civil servants, officers and employees of the central apparatus, FKU "CUKS HQ EMERCOM RF for RT" and other units gathered for cleaning the area from garbage and tree planting. Environmental action coincided with the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan. Therefore, many employees came to the clean-up with their entire families.

Another 280 internally displaced persons from the south-east of Ukraine, including 90 children, arrived today to Kazan from the village Matveyev Kurgan of Rostov Oblast by train. Ukrainian citizens were met in the North station by employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the city administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

Charity event "Help to get ready for school!" that has been organized in Tatarstan for the eighth consecutive year is aimed at helping to prepare for the school and for the acquisition of the necessary study supplies to needy families.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 52 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, dry grass extinguishing – 0. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 1 of them in the residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of fire safety rules during stove use – 1, ascertains – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 24 times. 3 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 10 times. Including: door unblocking – 2, traffic accident – 3, others – 5.

The Training Centre Staff of the Federal Fire Service on the Republic of Tatarstan hosted in their native walls unusual guests. Children of IDPs from Rostov Oblast from the Republic of Ukraine and adults themselves, that temporarily residing at the Rehabilitation Center of Kazan Gunpowder Factory, expressed a desire to go on an excursion.

Serviceable automatic fire protection systems and fire hydrants on the floors, which must be equipped with everything you need, play an important role in successful suppression of fire during a fire in high-rise buildings. However, not all leaders of homeowners associations conscientiously fulfill their obligations and monitor the serviceability of firefighting equipment.
