The republican contest "The Best State Civil Employee of the Republic of Tatarstan" will host in the Republic of Tatarstan for the first time. The competition is held in two rounds. The first qualifying round completed in EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan in early August of this year. Special competitive commission set up by the Ministry, has identified the most experienced state employees, worthy to represent the department in the main round, which will be held from August 14 to October 12, 2014. 

The excursion to Bugulma district and city department of All-Russian volunteer fire company became an unforgettable gift for the children of the older group of MBDOU number 17 "Red Riding Hood". The main purpose of the event — to remind the children about safe behavior and that VDPO, as a specialized agency, is always near and ready to help in case of an emergency or accident.

One of the important issues in preparation for the new school year — a new recruitment for cadet classes. So, there works a commission on recruiting classes of fire cadets in the school №67 of Kazan. Teachers and psychologists participate in the work of the commission. Republic department of Tatarstan of VDPO is represented by specialist in public relations, Guzel Avhadieva. The recruitment proceeds from the fifth to the ninth grade. After winning in fire-applied sports, participations in many national events the rank of the school is increased significantly. The number of those who wants to study in this school is significantly increased. Another difference of this school — teachers — men who work in the afternoon on special subjects of firefighting. Basically, they are EMERCOM workers or retired officers, which affects the discipline.

Incidents for August 24:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 96 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 8, dry grass extinguishing – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 13 fires, 5 of them in the residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: violation of fire safety rules during stove use – 5, careless handling of fire – 2, carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electric device use – 1, defect in heating stove – 3, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 28 times. 3 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 6.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 13 times. Including: door unblocking – 5, preventive raids at mass recreation places at the water – 2, patrolling mass recreation places at the water – 1, traffic accident – 1, others – 4.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 78 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 9, dry grass extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 3 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 31 times. 2 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 0.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 10 times. Including: door unblocking – 5, traffic accident – 1, patrolling mass recreation places at the water – 2, safety provision at event – 1, others – 1.

Today, the staff of the Training Center of FPS on RT came to the work with their entire families. The management of the center decided to organize such an unusual day within Republican Child Safety Month launched on August 20. The celebration began with a small workout. Children and parents decided to merge two commands. Family relay began with the fire race, continued in the art contest. Then children went into one of the classrooms of firefighters, went for a drive on a firetruck. Not all children dared to dress in the form of firefighter, because it was too big and heavy for them. But even the smallest could try a fire helmet as well as shoot a fire hose.

Tatarstan firefighters during duty on ensuring fire safety in Kazakevich children's camp on Bakhchisaray District of the Republic of Crimea made 28 trips to extinguish dry grass and debris​​. Today and tomorrow, two employees of FPS on RT will go home from the Republic of Crimea by plane, and the rest of the firefighters will leave Bakhchisaray District by a fire truck on August 30.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 27 times. 6 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 9 times. Including: door unblocking – 2, traffic accident – 2, patrolling mass recreation places at the water – 1, others – 4.

In the frame of Month of security the staff of OFPS-15 on RT organized a family sports festival with the elements of fire-applied sports and combat deployment. Firefighters brought their children and relatives to the sports competitions. The competition was attended by five teams, that represented 15th squad’s fire departments. Every team went through five stages. 

Today, warehouses of building materials in the market "Caravan" were burning. There is no dead and injured. Extinguishing the fire was carried out by means of the local garrison of fire protection. By the arrival of the first fire departments the warehouse roof was burning over the entire area of one-floor brick building (size 10x50 m). The operational group of fire protection garrison of Naberezhnye Chelny arrived to the place. The cause of the fire is being ascertained.
