On one of the largest chemical enterprises of Russia PJSC "Kazanorgsintez" today was the control-fire tactical exercise that involved forces and means of the Kazan members of FGBU " Department of Contractual divisions of the Federal Fire Service of the State Fire Service in the Republic of Tatarstan " and the emergency rescue unit of PJSC "Kazanorgsintez". 15 pieces of equipment and 60 personnel were involved in the exercises.

The EMERCOM of RT is launching the first (republican) stage of the V All-Russian Heroic and Patriotic Festival of Children and Youth Creativity "Star of Salvation".

Accidents on February 18:

Fire departments of SFS of Russia EMERCOM on RT had departures on alarms 45 times. Firefighters of the Republic eliminated 9 fires: in the residential sector-7 fires, on other objects-1 fire, vehicles-1 fire. 1 person was saved in the fires.

At 11.36, 18th of January a private log house measuring 6x7 meters was burning at the address: Agryz district, Salaushi village, Lenin Street, house number 62.

The estimated area of the fire was 42 sq. m.

On February 18, 2021, a conference call was held to summarize the activities of the All-Russian Public Organization of Veterans of the Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Fire Protection authorities in 2020 and the tasks for 2021. Veterans of the EMERCOM of Russia discussed the main achievements of the past year and identified priority tasks for the near future.

Recall that in 2020, the Russian Union of rescuers held a national competition for children and youth art-fine art Fire Safety, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the EMERCOM of Russia and the day of the fire Department, annually celebrated in Russia on April 30.

In 2020, 49 man-made fires occurred in multi-apartment residential buildings with a height of 28 meters or more on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Unfortunately, two people were killed and three people were injured in these fires. In order to reduce the risk of fire in high-rise residential buildings, to prevent the death and injury of people, according to the regulatory documents on fire safety, a number of basic requirements are imposed on these buildings.
