Trainings on deployment of forces and means of civil defense with the participation of federal and republican executive bodies and local authorities were held on the 82th Anniversary of Russian Civil Defense on the territory of Tatarstan, as well as throughout the country. The main purpose of the trainings – the preparation of the population and executive bodies to actions in wartime circumstances or in case of an emergency situation.

Incidents for October 3:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 59 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, no fire in the residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, arson – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 22 times. 1 person was rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 12 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, fire department cooperation – 1, traffic accident – 1, theoretical and practical lessons with students on “life safety” – 5, All-Russian training on civil defence – 2, searching operations on the water – 1, others – 1.

Festive events dedicated to the religious holiday Eid al-Adha will be held in 43 municipal districts, and in the cities of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny at 964 religious establishments located on the territory of the republic, including 56 ones in Kazan. Employees of supervision activity took all places of festive events to an account. 

For two days – October 3 and 4 – specialists of Crisis Management Center of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan are testing warning system in the framework All-Russian trainings for civil defense. So, specialists of CUKS operational duty shift in cooperation with mobile operators will distribute SMS messages with the following text: “Testing warning system of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan.”On October 3, “MTS” and “Megafon” subscribers will receive messages from 9 to 12 o’clock; on October 4, from 9 to 11 o’clock more than a million “Beeline” subscribers in Tatarstan will receive the messages the first time.

October 4 – Day of Russian Federation Civil Defense. It is 82 years old, now. On the eve of the celebration Rafis Khabibullin addressed to specialists and veterans of CD with congratulations.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, arson – 1, violation of household gas equipment – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 19 times. 2 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 6 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, fire – 1, traffic accident – 1, preventive raid at mass gathering of fishermen – 1.

In the frame of older persons’ decade, employees of 8th squad of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan and inspectors of supervision department for Zelenodolsky Municipal District organized raids through places of residence of lonely, older persons. Primarily, employees of fire service pay attention to electrofacilities state, the presence of heaters, heating stove consrtuction.

On the eve of the 82nd Anniverasry of Russia Civil Defense establishment, heads of departments of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan conduct open lessons in educational institutions, during which students are told about the history of civil defense establishment and its modern structure. Totally, 92 thematic lessons for civil defense are held covering 3450 students and 590 teachers.
