Incidents for October 8:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 50 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5, dry grass extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 2 fires, 1 of them in the residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 15 times. 2 people were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 10 times. Including: door unblocking – 5, others – 5.

The summing up of All-Russian Civil Defense Trainings headed by First Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of Russian Federation, Sergey Shlyakov, was broadcasted online-video conference in the room of Committee on Prevention and Liquidation of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety Provision of RT, and was attended by Chairman of the Committee – First Deputy Prime-Minister of RT, Aleksey Pesoshin, Acting Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, colonel of inner service, Tahir Karimullin, and leaders of ministries, departments, services of civil defense.

Volunteer firefighters extinguished two houses that burned because of violation of electrical equipment use rules in the village of Danyshevo of Kamsko-Ustyinsky District. Both of the houses were not residential, they were used as a dacha. Bolshesaltykovsky agricultural company VFD detachment consisting of one person arrived to the scene. A little later, another detachment of Yangasalsky VFD arrived. The threat of spreading the fire on the neighboring building was remaining. At 01:05 the open fire was eliminated. Late detection of the fire contributed to the spread. The sum of the property saved was 5 mln. rubles. 

In order to carry out training lessons on organization of reception, registration, accommodation of the evacuating population from Kazan there was held a gathering of evacuation and reception committee in the framework of Month of Civil Defense on the basis of receiving and evacuation point of the rural settlement of Malolyzinsky of Baltasinsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan number 7. The evacuation committee that composed of 38 people arrived to for the meeting to Baltasinsky District Executive Committee that was appointed as a temporary housing.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 51 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, 3 of them in the residential sector. 6 persons were rescued.

Causes of the fires are following: carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, defect in heating stove – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1, arson – 1, careless handling of fire – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 14 times. 6 people were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Including: door unblocking – 2, traffic accident – 1, fire extinguishing – 1, lessons with students – 2, others – 1.

Today, on the river Kama in Chistopolsky District, employees of Chistopolsky detachment of Center of GIMS of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan rescued two fishermen from a rubber boat that was grounded. Two GIMS employees, Kolyasev V. M. and Lobashov A. V., went to their help on Korvet-600 motor boat. The fishermen were found by the inspectors in the area of old Kama. EMERCOM employees evacuated them to Galaktionovo settlement. The fishermen were the residents of Nizhnekamsk. They did not need medical aid.

The most wide-scale republican competitions among junior firefighter squads with the elements of fire-applied sport were held in Kazan on the basis of sports complex of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, today. 13 teams of juniors met in the capital to compete for the main prize of the Championship.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 4, arson – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 2, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 2, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 21 times. 3 persons were rescued.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Including: door unblocking – 5, searching operations on the water – 1, others – 1.

Today, 26 migrants from Ukraine arrived to Kazan from Krasnodar. A task force of HQ EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan worked to organize the meeting and interaction of necessary services at “Severny” Kazan railway station. In addition, EMERCOM psychologists and medics met them, too. Residents of South-East Ukraine are conveyed to temporary accommodation places situated in sanatoriums of Kazan and Vasilevo of Zelenodolsky District.
