Tatarstan Participates in All-Russian Trainings for Civil Defense: Introductory – Training, Conditions – Real

Today, in the framework of All-Russian trainings for civil defense, there were worked out trainings on extinguishing burning oil tanks at Kazan oil farm, but in real conditions. According to the legend the tanks started to burn due to a lightning strike to a gasoline tank. Totally, 60 units of fire and rescue apparatus and more than 180 people were involved in the liquidation of the wide-scale training accident. It took about more than an hour to eliminate the accident. As the head of trainings, chief of fire-fighting organization and rescue operations conducting office of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, colonel of inner service, Konstantin Chanyshev, commented, the forces and means of city unit of territorial subsystem of RSChS and forces of EMERCOM worked out “satisfactorily”.
