Characteristic Incidents for Last Day

Incidents for October 2:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 40 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector. 5 persons were rescued.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, arson – 1, violation of household gas equipment – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 19 times. 2 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 6 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, fire – 1, traffic accident – 1, preventive raid at mass gathering of fishermen – 1.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
