International Anti-Corruption Day which was announced by UN General Assembly is marked on December 9 yearly. Russia is one of the first countries which signed Convention of December 9, which was ratified in 2006. According to the paper, countries that signed it must introduce changes and additions into their national legislation, in which bribes, misappropriation of budgetary means and laundering corrupted incomings must be announced criminal offence. Besides, contries-participants of Convention must coordinate their actions in order to fight corruption which has reached transcontinental scales.

Operational group of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia has safely arrived to the city of Bakhchisaray of the Republic of Crimea and gave 10 diesel generators with the power of 5 kW for gratuitous use. After that the staff of Tatarstan Headquarters of EMERCOM disposed in the settlement of Vilino of Bakhchisaraysky District where they deployed heating center and provided hot meals to local residents. Old and weak people were given candles, which were delivered with the humanitarian convoy from the Republic of Tatarstan.

Incidents as of December 8:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 51 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 17, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4,  singed meal – 4, cooperation with other services – 19. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, including 1 in residential sector, outhouses – 2, vehicles – 1.

Within holding activities dedicated to Rescuer’s Day, pupils of 1G grade of Nizhnekamsk Gymnasium No. 2 named after Baki Urmanche visited fire department No. 44 of the 1st Squad of Federal Fire Service.

Results of the republican competition of children’s picture “I Will Be Cautious on the Ice” among primary school pupils of secondary schools of the Republic of Tatarstan was summed up. More than 300 works from 40 municipal units of the republic came to the conclusive, republican stage of the competition of children’s picture this year. According to the results of the meeting of the republican competition commission the best 10 pictures were selected. Their authors were invited to awards with memorable gifts and diplomas on December 12 at 10:00 A.M. to Federal Budgetary Institution “Center of GIMS of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan”.

A competition of children’s picture with such name was organized for children of the staff of Search and Rescue Service Under EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan. The competition was attended by more than 60 children of service workers which represented total of 76 pictures.

Including false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 8, singed meal – 0, cooperation with other services – 19. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, including 4 in residential sector, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1, various types of property – 1. 1 person died.

Awards of All-Russian Festival of EMERCOM of Russia “Courage Constellation” took place in Moscow. There were representatives of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan among the winners of the competition.

Including false alarms – 19, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, singed meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, including 3 in residential sector, outhouses – 2, vehicles – 2, various types of property – 1. 1 person was injured.
