Incidents as of January 1:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 74 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 32, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5,  singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 14, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, including 4 in residential sector, outhouses – 3, garden houses – 1. 4 people were injured, 4 people were rescued.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 96 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 40, short circuit of wiring without burning – 6,  singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 17. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 16 fires, including 10 in residential sector, garden houses – 2. 3 people died, 1 person was injured, 1 person was rescued.

How to decorate New Year's Tree and use electric garlands correctly to avoid fire at the celebration:

Before New Year, a solemn ceremony of awards for employees of rescue service took place in FD-15 of Federal Budgetary Institution “”2nd Squad of Federal Fire Service of State Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan (contractual)”. That day, high-class specialists, real professionals of own job got their awards. The ceremony was opened by Chief of FD-15, Yuri Maksimov. Medals of EMERCOM of Russia “For Community in the Name of Rescue”, “25th Anniversary of EMERCOM of Russia”, “Marshal Vasiliy Chuykov” were given by Deputy Chief of Federal Budgetary Institution “2nd Squad Squad of Federal Fire Service of State Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan (contractual)”, Nasim Akhsanov.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 79 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 31, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2,  singed meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 20. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, including 3 in residential sector, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1, garden houses – 1. 1 person died, 1 person was saved, 5 people were rescued.

The tournament was held among fire and rescue garrisons of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chuvash Republic and Ulyanovsk Oblast. Total of 8 teams came to the competition and 1 team from the city of Ulyanovsk which played out of the competition.

Ferroconcrete divider fell on a worker born in 1977 during repairs on dismantling a non-bearing wall in a flat. He died at the scene. The second worker born in 1962 got many injuries.

On December 28, an illegally occupied boxroom started burning in a 16-storeyed apartment building on Bigichev St. The doorway of the house started to fill with acrid smoke, but at the same time the smoke removal system with automatic valves in the corridors triggered with a large delay.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 77 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 25, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1,  singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 23. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, including 5 in residential sector, outhouses – 5, vehicles – 1.

The solemn ceremony was held on the territory of the 52nd fire department. The idea of creation of own museum appeared about three years ago, and the initiator of the project was Chief of Zelenodolsk Fire and Rescue Garrison, Zufar Khaliullin. Veterans of fire service, representatives of district administration, chiefs of the largest city enterprises of Zelenodolsk, which made a noticeable contribution to the museum creation were honorary guests of that celebration.
