Characteristic Incidents for the Last Day

Incidents as of December 29:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 77 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 25, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1,  singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 23. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, including 5 in residential sector, outhouses – 5, vehicles – 1.

Causes: careless use of fire – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 3, child prank with fire – 2, static electricity charge in a garage – 1, faulty vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2.

Rides of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 11 times. 1 person was rescued.

Rides of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Rides of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 12 times. Including: demercurization – 1, traffic accident – 2, trainings on diving operations – 1, cooperation with other services – 2. Preventive works – 6.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave powered on electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! A fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness use of fire. A drunk person loses control of oneself and one’s actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
