On March 10 at 8:11 P.M., a card with the report on a suicide attempt by the city of Kazan, “Millenium” bridge was received from emergency calls service 112 dispatcher. The first to arrive to the scene at 8:13 P.M. were forces and means of Zonal Search and Rescue Squad No. 2of Search and Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan consisted of a duty shift on a rescue car with 2 people. Also, psychologies and ambulance medics arrived to the scene.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 8, false alarms – 24, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, burnt meal – 1 cooperation with other services – 16. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, including 4 in the residential sector, outhouses – 1. 1 person died.

Rescuers and employees of OSVOD of the city of Kazan in cooperation with representatives of district bodies of social protection of the city proceeded checking round the residential sector where lonely aged citizens and disabled live, in order to provide help this category of citizens in cleaning snow in spring which will protect their cellars from flooding, and their house roofs from collapse under the weight of wet snow.

During four days employees of the First Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan have demonstrated their professional skills at competitions on battle deployment on a training polygon. The competitions were attended by 48 duty guards each consisting of 5 people from 12 fire departments of OFPS-1.

The report on that a man was sinking in the river Cheremshan was received from an unknown witness on March 9, 2016 at 7:35 A.M. The man was going over the river and suddenly went down through the ice.

Fire department of the separate post of the 24th fire department was opened after an overhaul in Aznakayevo. On March 8 from 6:00 P.M., in connection with increasing average daily temperature and decreasing strength of the ice on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, there was temporarily stopped the operation of an ice passage over the Volga in the city okrug of Kazan on the route the village of Arakchino – the village of Verkhny Uslon (distance 3 km 200 m, width 40 m).
