Numerous children’s pictures on the theme of safety on the ice decorated Kazan underground stations of “Tukayevskaya”, “Kremlyovskaya” and “Kozya Sloboda”. Colorful informative exhibitions of children’s art were organized for townspeople and capital’s guests by employees of State Inspection on Small Vessels of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to remind both adults and children about safety behavior on thin ice of reservoirs in the spring. Also, GIMS employees gave underground passengers more than a hundred thematic memos.

That was said by Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nikolai Surzhko during a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of RT on the theme “About Readiness to Implement Activities of Passing Meltwater and Measures on Prevention and Mitigation of Consequences of Possible Emergencies Connected with Deterioration of Floods Situation”.

On March 14, 2016 at 11:03 P.M. there was received a report on fire in a multiple apartment house in Kazan. There was burning the bedroom in a three room apartment on the 7th floor, as well as balconies on the 8th and the 9th floors. At 11:17, the fire was localized.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 62 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 30, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, burnt meal – 1 cooperation with other services – 17. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, including 1 in the residential sector, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 1. 1 person was injured, 1 person was rescued.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 19, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, burnt meal – 0 cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, including 3 in the residential sector, garden houses – 1.

Water level in the rivers of the Republic during the period of spring floods will not exceed long-term norms. Moreover, specialists expect even “deficit” of big water at the average of half of a meter in comparison with usual indices.

On the day of anniversary of a tragic death of Deputy Chief of Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Operations Service of FKU “CUKS HQ EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan”, colonel lieutenant of inners service, Sergey Alekseevich Kostin, a memorable meeting with the attendance of colleagues, fellows and friends who came to honor his memory at Arskoye Cemetery near the hero’s grave.
