All of Ice Passages in Tatarstan Are Closed

On March 8 from 6:00 P.M., in connection with increasing average daily temperature and decreasing strength of the ice on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, there was temporarily stopped the operation of an ice passage over the Volga in the city okrug of Kazan on the route the village of Arakchino – the village of Verkhny Uslon (distance 3 km 200 m, width 40 m).

Also, on March 8 from 10:00 P.M., there was stopped the operation of three ice passages:

1. Over the Volga in Zelenodolsk Municipal District, on the route the city of Zelenodolsk – the settlement of Nizhnie Viazovye (distance 1 km 300 m, width 40 m);

2. Over the Kama in Mamadysh Municipal District, the village of Sokolka – the village of Novy Zakamsky (1 km 150 m, width 20 m);

3. Over the Kama in Yelabuga Municipal District, the village of Pokrovskoe – the village of Krasny Klyuch (700 m, width 40 m).
