16 people, including 5 children, were placed in rooms of sanatorium “Vasilevsky” last week. The personnel prepared everything important. Most of the refugees arrived just with with small travel bags, because they were leaving their home taking only the most necessary things. Most of the migrants left at that they were dressed at home.

On September 18, 2014 at 15:45 (MSK) a grounding of towing ship “OT-849” with two barges that was following Kazan – Chistopol route near Sakony settlement of Alekseevsky District at 1486 km of the water way was reported by a duty dispatcher of Chistopolsk Area of Waterways and Navigation (AWN).

The management of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of RT prepared an unusual present before International Day of Older Persons — an excursion to the museum-reserve of Yelabuga. On September 18, Crisis Management Center of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan received a report from Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of the Environment Management of the Republic of Tatarstan on storm warning about dangerous agrometeorological phenomenon on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan: “On September 19-20, 2014, at night and in the morning frost is expected here and there on the ground and in the air 0-2 degrees below zero.”

The other day, the delegation of Russian Federation consisting of cadets of the Republic of Tatarstan came back to Kazan. Children from Tatarstan participated in the work of XVII gathering of young firefighters and rescuers of the Republic of Belarus. Anisin Timur, Kirill Frolov of the cadet school number 67 and Adelina Zakirova of cadet school №99 of Kazan represented the Russian Federation at this gathering. The children actively participate in “Young firefighter” movement of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Now, about three and a half thousand refugees live in the Republic of Tatarstan. Zelenodolsk was no exception. 16 IDPs from Lugansk and Donetsk Oblast have already been received in the sanatorium “Vasilevsky”. Almost all of them came from Rostov District by train. They were met at Kazan train station by employees of fire service that helped to transport the baggage and organized “green corridor” to their place of residence in the sanatorium “Vasilevsky”. The resort’s administration provided the displaced the most comfortable rooms in the fifth building of the sanatorium.

Incidents for September 17:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 58 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 11, dry grass extinguishing – 0. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 2 of them in residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following:  careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, defect in heating stove – 1, child’s prank – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 14 times. 2 person was rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 12 times. Including: door unblocking – 8, traffic accident – 1, others – 3.

On September 17, the Orthodox Church celebrates the feast of the icon of the Mother of God “The Burning Bush” that is the patroness of all firefighters. That same day, Zelenodolsk firefighters gathered for a thanksgiving service in the chapel of Zelenodolsky Garrison of Fire Service to honor the icon of the Mother of God "Burning Bush." The service was attended by head of Zelenodolsky Garrison of Fire Service, Zufar Khaliullin, the staff of fire departments of the 8th federal fire service squad of the Republic of Tatarstan and parishioners.

The most wide-scale “School of Safety” competitions in the history started on the territory of children’s health center “Kostyor” in Vysokogorsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan. Nearly all of the municipal districts and institutions of the republic represented their teams at the final stage. Totally, more than 400 pupils are going to compete. These are the most massive starts of “School of Safety” in Tatarstan that have been held since 2001.

On September 17, 2014 at 13:05 (MSK) ODS CUKS of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan received information from duty dispatcher of Kazan Area of Waterways and Navigation (AWN) about stranding of a barge that was following Yablonevyy Ovrag – Kazan trip near Old Pobedilovo settlement of Kazan at 1315 km of the Volga’s distance.
