Another Ship Stranded in Same Place Near Pobedilovo Settlement

On September 17, 2014 at 13:05 (MSK) ODS CUKS of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan received information from duty dispatcher of Kazan Area of Waterways and Navigation (AWN) about stranding of a barge that was following Yablonevyy Ovrag – Kazan trip near Old Pobedilovo settlement of Kazan at 1315 km of the Volga’s distance.

There was no damage, no fuel leakage, no dead and no injuries. The preliminary cause is an error of the ship commander. Forces and measures attracted to the liquidation: 13 people, 1 vehicle, 1 swimming facility (including 3 people, 1 vehicle from EMERCOM).
