Towing Ship with Two Barges Ran Aground on Kama

On September 18, 2014 at 15:45 (MSK) a grounding of towing ship “OT-849” with two barges that was following Kazan – Chistopol route near Sakony settlement of Alekseevsky District at 1486 km of the water way was reported by a duty dispatcher of Chistopolsk Area of Waterways and Navigation (AWN).

No damages, no fuel leakage . No injuries. Forces and measures attracted to the liquidation: 9 people, 3 vehicles (including 2 swimming facilities), from those 6 people, 2 vehicles (including 1 swimming facility) from EMERCOM.
