Unforgettable Tour of Veterans of Fire Service to Yelabuga

The management of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of RT prepared an unusual present before International Day of Older Persons — an excursion to the museum-reserve of Yelabuga. That tour was organized for veterans and widows of emergency workers for the first time this year. Last year, our veterans went to Sviyazhsk and to Bolghar.

The trippers were guided to the "Devil's Ancient Settlement", the veterans visited several museums, including the House Museum of Marina Tsvetaeva, House Museum of Durov Family, House Museum of Ivan Shishkin and very young museum, which was established in 2007 to the millennium of Yelabuga, and visited the museum "Portomoynya." Chairman of the Board of Veterans, Pyotr Ivanov, presented the veterans a history book "Our General", dedicated to Lieutenant-General of police Yapeev S. Z.

That excursion for veterans was not the last. According to a plan of the HQ of EMERCOM of Russia for RT, there is organized another tour for those, who were not able to go to Yelabuga.
