Prevention groups have intensified their work on fire prevention
To prevent the burning of dry stubble in the fields and dead wood in the adjacent territories – such a task was faced today by the preventive group of the Vysokogorsky district, which included employees of the state fire supervision, representatives of the rural settlement and forestry.
In total, since the beginning of the fire-hazardous period, 883 fires of dry grassy vegetation and garbage have been recorded in the republic.
The settlements of Permyaki and Estachi are just located near forest plantations. It was from here that the professional group began monitoring the fire-hazardous situation. In order to cover as much of the population as possible, firefighters toured these settlements on a fire tanker truck and informed the villagers about the establishment of the 5th class of forest fire danger in the republic over a loudspeaker. And inspectors of the district department of supervision and preventive work went around residential buildings to once again remind residents of the danger of burning dry grass and garbage in such a fire-hazardous period.
