Andrey Orlov took part in the Victory Day celebrations in Chistopol
A solemn rally dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War was held on the central square of Chistopol. Thousands of residents of Chistopol gathered here – collectives of enterprises and organizations, schoolchildren, students, kindergarten students and other residents of the city. The most honorable places are occupied by home front workers, war children, relatives of participants in a Special military operation and the defenders of the Fatherland themselves.
From the main stage, all those gathered were congratulated by the head of the municipal district Dmitry Ivanov, Acting Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan Andrey Orlov, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, General Director of HC Chistopolye Nail Zalakov, military Commissar of the Chistopol and Novosheshminsky districts Sergey Kotsyn, a veteran of military operations of the SVR, knight of the Order of Courage, Deputy City Council Marat Zartdinov.
Residents of Chistopol observed a minute of silence in memory of all the victims.
The parade continued the solemn event. Columns of representatives of law enforcement agencies marched through the central square of the city, including employees of the departments of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, veterans of military operations, volunteers, educational institutions, collectives of enterprises and organizations, and social movements. Thousands of flowers and wreaths were laid by residents of Chistopol at the Eternal Flame memorial and the steles on the Alley of Heroes. The celebration continued in the Skaryatinsky garden, where various playgrounds, exhibitions, expositions, photo zones, a concert program, and playgrounds were organized for children.
