The results of the work of the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society over the past five years were announced at the reporting and election conference of the RVFS held on the eve. According to its results, the work of Tatarstan public activists was recognized as successful. Radik Kamaletdinov, Chairman of the RVFS Council, was re-elected for a second term. The conference was attended by the heads of the Central Council of the RVFS, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The number of members of the society of the Tatarstan branch of the RVFS is growing every year. Since 2017, their number has increased fourfold (from 227 to 953 people) and they take an active part in the life of the organization, and make their suggestions for improving the work.
No small importance is attached to the development and popularization of fire and rescue sports. Competitions in fire and rescue sports are regularly held among students of educational institutions in Kazan, Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk and other local departments. They are trying to provide great assistance to the Fire and Rescue Sports Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan by participating in the organization of competitions at all levels, including the Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The promotion of fire volunteerism is one of the priorities of the RVFS. 27 formations were created in the format of voluntary fire brigades.
