A fire on a small vessel that spread to the coastal reeds, several people were in the water and need to be rescued. - This is the legend of the interdepartmental training on emergency response, which involved three small vessels and 36 people. Inspectors of the SISV Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, firefighters of the Kazan Fire and Rescue garrison, rescuers of the zonal search and rescue squad No. 2 (g. Kazan) of the search and rescue service under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as doctors, rescuers of the Republican SRW and volunteers of the Tatarstan branch of the All-Russian Student Rescue Corps.
The exercises are based on a completely ordinary situation that is possible when using a small vessel, namely, an engine fire in a boat, as a result of which two people were overboard in cold water. The ship, engulfed in fire, washed ashore, and now the coastal reeds have already caught fire.
All the goals and objectives of the training were fulfilled, - summed up the Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for small vessels Yuri Venediktov. He also noted that minor shortcomings were identified during the exercises, which will be carefully analyzed in order to prevent them in the future.
