Kazan hosted the traditional international athletics start "Kazan Marathon". About 12 thousand running fans from various regions of Russia, as well as guests from other countries took part in it. Among the participants of the race were representatives of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan. One of them, Alina Ganieva, is the dispatcher of the communication point of the fire and rescue unit No. 93 of the Federal Fire Service of Nizhnekamsk.
- I take part in such starts every year. Sport is life! I try to adhere to a healthy lifestyle myself and involve my children in this. I ran a distance of 10 kilometers at the Kazan Marathon," Alina Maratovna told about the race.
The Kazan Marathon has been held annually since 2015. His route is quite rightly considered a "running tour" of the main attractions of the city. Having finished safely within the established time frame, the athlete was awarded a commemorative medal.
