Flood prevention measures are being carried out in the Apastovo municipal district
The forces and means of the territorial subsystem of emergency prevention and liquidation of the Apastovо municipal district are ready to meet the upcoming flood fully armed. The forces of the district administration are carrying out preventive work on the safe passage of flood waters.
Almaz Tugushev, Chairman of the Commission for Emergency Situations and fire safety of the Apastovо municipal district, said that the beginning of the active phase of the flood at the water bodies of the district is predicted in the 1st decade of April.
Preventive measures for the safe passage of flood waters are carried out on all flood-prone sections of rivers. There are 3 such sites in the district. On the Sviyaga River in the village Deushevo., the Bula River in the village Chireevo, the Ulema River in the village Tanai-Turaevo.
In addition, round-the-clock surveillance is conducted at 5 posts. The work on blackening and sawing ice is controlled by the heads of rural settlements.
