On the eve of International Women's Day
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to women who are related to the field of digital technologies. The event was held in the Kazan Kremlin. 29 workers in the field of informatization and communications were awarded State awards of the Republic of Tatarstan and Thanks of the President of Tatarstan.
Among the awardees is Olga Novikova, a specialist in receiving and processing emergency calls of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Emergency Call Service — 112". Rustam Minnikhanov presented Olga with the medal "100th anniversary of the TASSR".
"Today in the hall there is a wonderful half of those who are directly related to the field of digital technologies. Your professionalism makes a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of our republic. And despite the complexity and responsibility of your work, you remain a gentle and beautiful half of our humanity," Rustam Minnikhanov said, addressing the women in the hall.
