In Kazan fires will be extinguished with the new waterjet installation of ultrahigh pressure "Cobra"
The Kazan fire and rescue garrison received a fire tanker with a waterjet installation of ultrahigh pressure "Cobra", equipped with a fire pump, storage tanks for liquid extinguishing agents and means of their supply, a generator, an expanded set of fire-technical weapons. The capabilities of the new machine provide rapid supply of extinguishing agents to the fire in confined and inaccessible places (eg, locked doors, reinforced concrete or metal walls, as well as through the roof), using a combination of technologies of waterjet cutting and extinguishing fine water of ultrahigh pressure.
The method of fire extinguishing "Cobra" consists in mixing water and abrasive emitted through a special outlet at high pressure (300 atmospheres). Extinguishing with this method is conducted from a safe position, from the outside of the structure.
