Annually in the Center of rehabilitation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RT of S.S.Karatai veterans of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RT, rescuers, firemen, veterans of the Afghani and Chechen wars, liquidators of accident on the Chernobyl atomic power station, more than one and a half thousand people, pass a rehabilitation course.
This week course of veterans’ treatment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RT which already became traditional comes to end. Some of them pass rehabilitation in the Center for the first time and are very happy with treatment and attention from medical and attendants.
In a spring high water period of 2009 during the check by employees of Management of civil protection of executive committee of Kazan the fact of an emergency condition of a protective dam has been found out in a lake at Chebaksa settlement of the Soviet district of Kazan. It was found out that as a result of unapproved cut a water throughput pipe in diameter of 1200 mm there was an undermining of a dam body on 6-8 meters.
By estimates of experts, at the next high water of 2010 the dam simply would not sustain a water pressure. And after all, the water total amount in a dam made 347 thousand cubic meter. At break of a dam in a spring high water under the threat of flooding there could be inhabitants of the Kazan settlements Kinderi, Aki, Novaya Sosnovka, Beliankino with an aggregate number of 15 thousand 743 persons. The wave in height of 7,2 meters simply would take down settlements from and people victims could be estimated in tens.
Today over 40 pupils of the Kazan lyceum № 89 officially became cadets of a profile class of the State fire service. In assembly hall of the educational institution they have taken the oath to fidelity to fire affair.
On October, 4th - The Day of a civil defense of the Russian Federation. This day in 1932 the Council of National Commissioners of the USSR approved «Position about antiaircraft defense of the USSR territory». This date is the beginning of existence of the USSR Civil defense, and then the Russian Federation.
Today the civil defense system is actively improving and adequately reacting to a changed situation. To guarantee safety to the population both in military, and in a peace time – the basic function of any state. This year to civil defense system is 77 years old.

Mobility and readiness of nonprofessional signalmen, scouts and doctors at emergency situation liquidation in peace and a wartime have been checked at a final stage of republican competitions which have taken place on September, 25th in capital of Tatarstan. 9 teams have taken part there, representing the various industrial enterprises of republic.
On September, 24th, 2009 6.48 pm Moscow time, in Naberezhnye Chelny, on the base of the building industry of Promkomzona, in a premise for oven fuel swapping, in tank for storage of Open Company "DisBen" there was an explosion and burning of one-storied building as a result of infringement of technological process at fuel swapping from a gasoline tank truck of KamAZ to the land tank. the Premise was destroyed completely. The fire area was 30 sq.m. Fortunately, there wasn’t the threat of the further collapse. Fire liquidation was finished at 7.45 pm (Moscow time). It was possible not to admit fire spreading on the nearest structures. Fire consequences could be more scale and tragic.
Today chiefs of divisions sentries of a federal fire service in Republic of Tatarstan didn’t have to incur a management of fire extinguishing and to go with fire sentry to the fire heat – they have stood on racetracks of training arena to show their physical readiness. Then instead of fire trunks they took ball pens, notebooks and showed theoretical knowledge in questions of tactical, technical and medical preparation.
«Cross of the Nations» is the biggest mass summer sports action spent in territory of Russia by quantity of participants and geographical coverage.
The Russian day of run is not only most mass running, but also social significant event in a country life.
This day in Russia over 300 thousand people participated in this action. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Republic of Tatarstan have not stood away also. More than 8 thousand firemen and rescuers participated in a sports holiday. Rescuers of Tatarstan became the best by results of running.

The pupils of 60th high school of the Aviastroitelniy district of Kazan endured evacuation and became witnesses of work of fire-saving divisions today.
