Republican summer fire-applied sports championship was held at “Stroitel” stadium in Naberezhnye Chelny. Eight strongest teams from all over the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the competition. The sportsmen were welcomed by Deputy Chief of MES of Russia Headquarters on the Republic of Tatarstan, head of supervision management, Sergey Valentinovich Sergeev.
In Tetyushskiy district voluntary firefighters were first to strike a fire and did not let it jump to a barn. The volunteers assessed the situation and served fire trunks to douse a wooden structure and to protect the residential house. The volunteers managed to cease the fire until fire departments arrived. The residential building was saved, but the wooden barn was burnt. A condition that contributes to fire growth is late detection of fire. The preliminary case is being ascertained.
Incidents for June, 3:
Fire departments of Federal fire service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 240 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 52, dry grass extinguishing – 58, poplar fluff extinguishing – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 13 fires, 3 of them in the residential sector.
The causes of fires are: failure of vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, careless handling of fire – 7, arson – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 3, childish prank – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 16 times. 6 persons were rescued.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 4 times.
Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 10 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, traffic accident – 3, patrolling recreation places – 2, others – 4.
Once again, a lesson of a firetime was learnt by firefighters of the second detachment of Federal Fire Service on RT. They always enrich their professional skills that regularly pass through tests for careful application in practice. General exams time was no exception. The detachment’s management decided to test the staff’s level of preparedness on the territory of “Aznakayevskneft” oil preparation and refining shop where tactical trainings were held.
On June, 2, a live was held with Deputy Chief of UND of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT, Truschin. M. V., on “Efir” channel on “Actual theme” program. There was raised an issue of fire safety conditions in children health camps of the republic. In the frame of the live Truschin. M. V. not only sounded the problem, but answered questions of the viewers.
Swimming season in the republic was officially opened on June, 1, but six tragic accidents have already been registered since the beginning of May, including two children dead. Such disappointing results were announced by Chief State Inspector of RT for Small Vessels, Ilham Nasibullin, in Ministry of RT during a briefing organized for the media.

The causes of fires are: violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, careless handling of fire – 7, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, failure in heating stove and chimney – 1, arson – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 18 times. 2 persons were rescued.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 4 times.
Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 14 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, traffic accident – 2, others – 2, fire – 1, wood sawing – 1, patrolling recreation places – 1.
Employees of the State Fire Supervision of Headquarters of MES of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan continue preventive examinations of summer children health camps for status of fire safety. Sports and healthcare camp "Iskra" located in a wooded area of Kirov district underwent the next planned inspection by GPN inspectors.

Fire departments of FFS of MD of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 136 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 23, dry grass extinguishing – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 17 fires, 4 of them in the residential sector. 3 persons were injured.
The causes of fires are: violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 4, violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 4, careless handling of fire – 3, carelessness when smoking – 2, failure of vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, arson – 2, ascertain – 2.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 14 times. 4 persons were rescued.
Missions of VFD units on fire fighting – 8 times.
Missions of SAR units of MES of RT – 16 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, traffic accident – 6, search and rescue operation on water – 3, safety provision at activity – 2, preventive raid – 2, others – 2.
“Call 01” competition was organized among children by instructors of Sarmanovskiy area of Almetyevskiy detachment of TRO VDPO on the eve of Children’s Day in Sarmanovo in the basis of the school camp. The lesson was aimed at the promotion and prevention of fires among children, and giving them skills of careful handling of fire and flammable objects.
