Voluntary firefighters’ efficient work

In Tetyushskiy district voluntary firefighters were first to strike a fire and did not let it jump to a barn. The volunteers assessed the situation and served fire trunks to douse a wooden structure and to protect the residential house. The volunteers managed to cease the fire until fire departments arrived. The residential building was saved, but the wooden barn was burnt. A condition that contributes to fire growth is late detection of fire. The preliminary case is being ascertained.

Another barn was extinguished by DPO workers in Kon’ village of Pestrechinskiy district. The volunteers assessed the situation, assured that no one was inside the burning building. Since the neighboring barn was close to the fire, it jumped to this barn. That is why the barn was totally burnt, and the neighboring barn partially suffered. Total area of the fire – 30m2. The cause – careless handle of fire by unidentified persons.
