Characteristic incidents for the last day

Incidents for June, 2:

Fire departments of Federal fire service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 155 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 29, dry grass extinguishing – 25. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, 3 of them in the residential sector. 3 persons were rescued.

The causes of fires are: violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, careless handling of fire – 7, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, failure in heating stove and chimney – 1, arson – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 18 times. 2 persons were rescued. 

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 4 times.

Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 14 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, traffic accident – 2, others – 2, fire – 1, wood sawing – 1, patrolling recreation places – 1.

Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT warns:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
