Incidents for July, 18:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 80 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, 5 of them in the residential sector.

The causes of fires are: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 3, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 2, arson – 3, incorrect installation and defect in heating stove and chimney – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 25 times. 17 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 16 times. Including: door unblocking – 2, preventive talks with holidaymakers at the water – 3, safety provision at event – 3, traffic accident – 4, others – 4.

Today, with such good intentions public persons of OSVOD of Kazan City and rescuers of search and rescue detachment of Office of Civil Protection of Kazan City held a training session on Nizhnee Zarechye beach on helping a drowning for holidaymakers on the beach and KAI students who study at the faculty "Industrial and environmental security", and will join the ranks of MES in the future. 

Lessons on fire safety were held in the children’s health camp “Fakel” of NGDU "Elkhovneft" in Almetyevsk Municipal District. MES employees told the children about dangers and benefits of fire, talked about consequences of childish prank by fire, and how to behave if their parents and adults are absent when a smoke or a fire appears in their apartment. They repeated the fire guard telephone calls, showed how to use a fire extinguisher, and talked about dangers of false alarms. The children answered questions of the firefighters correctly and clearly. The children were delighted, certainly, by a red fire truck. 

July 18, 1927 is considered to be the date of formation of the state fire supervision – the date of signing of the Central Executive Committee of the RSFSR SNK Regulations on the state fire supervision bodies in RSFSR.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 106 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 10, dry grass extinguishing – 4. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, 1 of them in the residential sector.

The causes of fires are: arson – 2, careless handling of fire – 3, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 31 times. 1 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 6.

Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 16 times. Including: door unblocking – 5, others – 11.

Special tactical exercises were held In Zelenodolsky District with the constant readiness combined mobile antiepizootic unit on "Identification, localization and liquidation of African swine fever outbreak in a village" theme. This zone was not chosen randomly, because pig farms are concentrated here, so the exercise was attended by the local population, and the head of the nearby settlements. 

In order to improve the level of fire protection in residential sector, reduce material and social losses from fires in the residential sector, workers of the separate post for the protection of Ulyanovka village and Bolshoye Nurkeevo village of Nizhnekamsk squad of fire service of Tatarstan held a preventive raid of these villages. 

Since the beginning of this year, republican volunteers rescued three people on fires and helped firefighters put out 512 fires. Only the last day DPO workers went to put out fires six times. So, on July 16, in Drozhzhanovsky district in Mataki village volunteers first started to extinguish private bath log. DPO "Mataki" on fire tanker AC-30 was already in place in 8 minutes.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 88 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 9, dry grass extinguishing – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector. 12 persons were rescued.

The causes of fires are: violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, careless handling of fire – 2, carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 24 times. 2 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 6.

Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 18 times. Including: traffic accident – 2, door unblocking – 5, preventive activities at mass recreation places – 3, searching operations on water – 2, safety provision at events – 4, others – 2.

GIMS employees rescued and brought ashore four people who were in a 2-seater rubber boat, which was drifted from the shores by a strong wind on July 12, 2014. The report from suffering distress was received at 11.06 to EDDS of Laishevskiy municipal district via the "GLONASS" system. The young people informed the approximate coordinates of where their boat blew off the coast, near the village of Atabaevo.
