Today, with such good intentions public persons of OSVOD of Kazan City and rescuers of search and rescue detachment of Office of Civil Protection of Kazan City held a training session on Nizhnee Zarechye beach on helping a drowning for holidaymakers on the beach and KAI students who study at the faculty "Industrial and environmental security", and will join the ranks of MES in the future.

Vacationers were not only distributed educational manuals, but were shown the necessary reanimation actions on a conditional drowning in practice. Such lesson was organized in mass recreation places of citizens by OSVOD of Kazan City staff, which was on duty at this beach, along with the PSO rescuers of Civil Protection of Kazan City.

As the rescuers say, those die on the water mostly who bathes in a drunken state and in unequipped for this place, and childish pranks on the water or parent’s lack of care lead to deaths of children. Since the start of the bathing season in the waters of the republic, 28 people died, including five children. And the saddest thing is that no one can come to the rescue to victims in a difficult moment, because unauthorized beaches have no rescuers’ posts, and eyewitnesses of the incident just do not have skills to provide first aid.

Therefore, such training sessions with population will be held in all the beaches of Kazan during the bathing season by MES rescuers together with employees of OSVOD of Kazan, and more than once, as well as in children and student camps, located near the water.
