This year, childish prank with fire have become the cause of a few fires in the republic, in which six children got fatal carbon monoxide poisoning. Last year, there were 46 fires because of childish prank with fire; 12 children died in them, 22 ones got injured. Winter holidays of children are to come. In this regard, employees of supervisory activities hold lessons in schools, and make reports at parent-teacher conferences in preschool institutions.
In early December, in consultation with the director of Shumany secondary school of Vysokogorsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan, workers of the separate post of Shumany village of Kazan Squad of Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan held preventive fire safety lesson with pupils. The meeting was attended by 43 pupils and 12 teachers, as well as service staff.

Firefighters of the 8th Squad of Federal Fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan and the department of supervision for Zelenodolsky District conduct preventive raids across residential houses of the village of Nurlaty in cooperation with representatives of local government, police and social service. Five fires, three of them ended with deaths, and five people died in fire – this is the statistics of the people of Nurlaty village of Zelenodolsky Municipal District.
