Including burning garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 28, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 20, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 3 fires, including 1 in the residential sector, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, including 6 in the residential sector, outhouses – 3, vehicles – 1. 2 people were injured, 1 person was saved.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 70 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 29, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 5, cooperation with other services – 17. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, including 2 in the residential sector, outhouses – 5, vehicles – 1. 1 person died.

At night and in the morning on January 17, 2016 the followings are awaited: frost up to 25-28 degrees, fog with the vision of 500 meters and lower in separate areas. In the afternoon on January 17, at night and in the afternoon on January 18 the followings are awaited: strong snowing, snowstorm with vision deterioration up to 500 – 1 000 meters, strong wind with gusts up to 15-18 m/s, snowdrifts on the roads. In the afternoon on January 18 there may be local ice slicks.

Efficiency of prevention teams on the work with citizens which are in social risk zone and preparedness of RSChS services to weather conditions deterioration were discussed today at a republican videoconference which was held by President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.

On January 16, after remarks that were found on January 12 were removed and after repeated technical observation the ice passage over the river Kama was opened. The traffic of vehicles with the mass until 2 tons is allowed. It is the fourth ice passage in Tatarstan. Its distance is 700 meters.

The Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan took on account 111 objects of the religious ritual – bathing, including chalices – 11, open waters – 78, springs – 22. For duty, 360 EMERCOM employees, including 65 rescuers of SAR of RT, 35 employees of GIMS, 243 employees of Federal Fire Service, 17 workers of State Budgetary Institution “Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan”. Total of 31 various articles of rescue techniques will be involved. Probably, about up to 30 thousand people will participate in the church ritual.

GIMS employees began to check ice thickness at places equipped with ice-holes for a ritual at Baptism of Jesus Holiday. The observations will be held at all of the places of bathing in cities and districts of Tatarstan until January 19. At the holiday of Baptism, rescuers, firefighters, medics and police will be on duty to provide safety near Temple Image of Edessa, where ice thickness is 25-27 cm.
