The Number of Fires Reduced by 7.2%, and Accidents on the Water Were Record Low Over the Last 10 Years in Kazan in 2015

Chief of Civil Defense Office of Executive Committee of the city, Ferdinand Timurkhanov, called Kazan citizens for buying fire extinguishers. Last year, there were 672 fires in Kazan, their number in comparison with 2014 reduced by 72. Also, the number of the dead reduced by 7 people, to 36 people. At the same time the number of the injured grew from 50 to 56 people. Last year rescuers departed for aid provision 483 times: 183 people, including 24 children, were rescued.

In 2013 – 22 people, in 2014 – 12 people, and in 2015 – only 5 people died on the waters of Kazan. At the same time, 15 people were rescued.
