Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 40 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 21, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, burnt meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 4. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 3 fire, including 3 in the residential sector. 1 person died.

Today, employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with colleagues from other departments worked on a liquidation of a conventional traffic accident on the ice passage Arakchino – Verkhny Uslon. Rescuers, medics, STSI employees and workers which cater for the ice passage took part in special trainings on deploying and actions consequence during liquidation of an accident on the ice passage over the river Volga.

As a result of a cyclone on January 21, unfavorable meteorological phenomena on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan are forecasted: snowing, strong snowing at places, snowstorm with the vision up to 1 000 meters and ice-slicks at places, South-West wind with gusts up to 15-18 m/s, ice drifts on roads.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, burnt meal – 0, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 1 fire, including 1 in the residential sector.

Today, GIMS inspectors held a repeated technical examination of ice passages on the river Volga on the routes Arakchino – Verkhny Uslon and Zelenodolsk – Nizhnie Vyazovye. After that they gave the go-ahead to drive over the ice road for cars with the mass of 3.5 tons. Minimal thickness of the ice on the passage Arakchino – Verkhny Uslon is 32 cm.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, including 5 in the residential sector, outhouses – 2.

At night on January 19, EMERCOM employees went on duty at all places of the Orthodox holiday of Epiphany. Firefighters and rescuers took under their control all of 13 places of holiday activities, including 8 fonts, on the territory of Zelenodolsk Municipal District.

Today, chiefs of Kazan Fire Service Garrison and representatives of Board of Veterans of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan congratulated Anatoly Varlamov, a veteran of Great Patriotic War and fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan, with 90th anniversary jubilee.
