    Today, Irek Kadamov, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, introduced Andrey Orlov, appointed Acting Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, to the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan.

    There were two issues on the agenda, the first of which concerned awarding the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Chistopolsky Municipal District" to the participants of the Great Patriotic War. Dmitry Ivanov, the head of the municipal district, spoke on the second item of the meeting's agenda. He presented a detailed report on the results of the socio-economic development of the Chistopolsky district in 2024 and the tasks for 2025.

    Before the opening, exercises were held at the ferry to eliminate the consequences of a conditional accident.     The XX All-Russian Fire and Rescue sports competitions of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan have come to an end in Kazan. The main prize in the overall competition was won by the team of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in St. Petersburg.

    On the eve and during the second competitive day of the XX All-Russian EMERCOM competitions in fire and rescue sports, the first sets of awards were awarded for the Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.

    Tatarstan firefighters and rescuers received 20 new pieces of equipment purchased at the expense of the federal and republican budgets. Fire tankers, emergency rescue vehicles, off-road passenger cars, small craft and snowmobiles joined the service.

In Tatarstan, from January 20 to January 26, units of the State Fire Service eliminated 46 fires.

Unfortunately, 4 people died in the fires, and 1 person was injured. Fire departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Tatarstan rescued 4 people.
