Employees of the Tatarstan EMERCOM joined the All-Russian action "Minute of Silence"

22 June 2025, Sunday

Every year, on June 22, Russia remembers one of the most tragic dates in history — the day of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. On this day in 1941, our country entered into a deadly battle with its worst and most insidious enemy, German fascism. In memory of this event and as a sign of respect for the fallen heroes, the All-Russian action "Minute of Silence" is held annually.

At 12:15 p.m. Moscow time, life stops all over the country. Traffic stops for a minute, TV and radio channels stop broadcasting, people take off their hats and think. This moment is a time for reflection, sorrow and gratitude to those who gave their lives for our future.

Commemorative events were also held in the units of subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Tatarstan, which are on daily duty. But it was the minute of silence that became the central moment – it reminded that memory should be alive, personal and nationwide.

Today in the zonal search and rescue squad No.Two Search and Rescue services lowered their national flags and, with a minute of silence, remembered those who gave us the right to live in peace. And let this moment be not just a tribute, but a reminder of how important it is to value peace and remember the history of your country.
