Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 40 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 19, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, burnt meal – 0 cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, including 3 in the residential sector, garden houses – 1.

Water level in the rivers of the Republic during the period of spring floods will not exceed long-term norms. Moreover, specialists expect even “deficit” of big water at the average of half of a meter in comparison with usual indices.

On the day of anniversary of a tragic death of Deputy Chief of Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Operations Service of FKU “CUKS HQ EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan”, colonel lieutenant of inners service, Sergey Alekseevich Kostin, a memorable meeting with the attendance of colleagues, fellows and friends who came to honor his memory at Arskoye Cemetery near the hero’s grave.

Rescuers and employees of OSVOD of the city of Kazan in cooperation with representatives of district bodies of social protection of the city proceeded checking round the residential sector where lonely aged citizens and disabled live, in order to provide help this category of citizens in cleaning snow in spring which will protect their cellars from flooding, and their house roofs from collapse under the weight of wet snow.

During four days employees of the First Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan have demonstrated their professional skills at competitions on battle deployment on a training polygon. The competitions were attended by 48 duty guards each consisting of 5 people from 12 fire departments of OFPS-1.

The report on that a man was sinking in the river Cheremshan was received from an unknown witness on March 9, 2016 at 7:35 A.M. The man was going over the river and suddenly went down through the ice.
