Incidents for August 11:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 68 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, 5 of them in the residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: violation of fire safety rules during stove use – 1, arson – 3, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, incorrect installation and defect in heating stove and chimney – 1, violation of fire safety rules during domestic electric device use – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 20 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 5 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, search operations on the water – 1, preventive raids at mass recreation places – 1, others – 2.

Another group of IDPs from South-Eastern Ukraine in the amount of 64 people arrived to Kazan from Rostov Oblast by train, today. There are 28 children among the people who had left their homes because of the fratricidal war. Basically — it is kids up to 7 years, there are also breastfeeding babies. Refugees were met by employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the city administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan at the railway station "Kazan-2". 

Employees of the supervisory department of Nizhnekamsk visited the camp "Zarya" of Nizhnekamsk municipal district and held a session on fire safety. The communication with firefighters always brings joy not only to children but also broaden their horizons in the field of fire safety. School and country camps conduct their work in full swing. It is not the first meeting of employees of supervisory department of Nizhnekamsk with children; with the opening of camp shifts firefighters visited almost all camps of the district where children had a true celebration of summer safety.

The team of the Republic of Tatarstan won a bronze medal in the team event in XXIII Championship in fire-applied sports of EMERCOM of Russia in Orenburg. The active members of Tatarstan athletes have three gold medals in the individual competition.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire by unidentified persons – 2, violation of fire safety rules during stove use – 2, incorrect installation of furnace and chimney – 2, arson – 2, childish prank with fire – 1, carelessness when smoking – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 23 times. 5 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 15 times. Including: door unblocking – 2, search operations on the water – 5, traffic accident – 1, preventive raids at mass recreation places – 2, safety provision at high-diving competitions – 1, trees sawing – 1, others – 3.

Increase in the number of forest fires in the Russian Federation became a cause for concern about the state of a fire situation in the forests and forest park areas in the Republic of Tatarstan. Sustainable heat and notorious human factor are the major causes of fires in the natural environment. In this regard, the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan have taken additional measures to prevent fires. 

On August 9, the annual air show "I choose the sky!" aviation holiday was held at the airfield "Borisoglebskoe" of S. Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Plant — branch of JSC "Tupolev". For fire safety, as well as the elimination of the consequences of possible emergency situations 60 employees of the Federal Fire Service and 12 units of the basic and specialized equipment will be involved on duty in places of the celebration, including 10 units from the 35th  Special Department of the Federal Fire Service of EMERCOM of Russia, and 2 units of technique from the 5th Squad of the Federal Fire Service.

Employees of supervisory department of Kazan of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan held a conversation on preventive measures of fire safety with members of the gardening companies that are located near Derbyshki village of Soviet district. The reason for the gathering of gardeners became frequent cases of the number of fires in the city and suburbs, including in garden plots. From the beginning of the year, EMERCOM recorded 43 cases of fire on summer homes and buildings. 

The main objective of fire prevention is to eliminate the risk of fire. This problem is solved by a system of technical and organizational measures to prevent fire, including the implementation of fire safety requirements. The solution to this problem depends on the responsibility and efforts of the administration in the field of fire prevention. Another problem in the case of fire — minimizing the consequences of a fire, ensuring the safety of people and property and extinguishing a fire. 

For the past day, firefighters and volunteers extinguished three fires together, of which the two ones were extinguished by volunteers of the village Old Ibraykino of Aksubaevsky district.
