Total 888 Internally Displaced Persons from Ukraine Live in 13 Temporary Housings in Tatarstan

Another 280 internally displaced persons from the south-east of Ukraine, including 90 children, arrived today to Kazan from the village Matveyev Kurgan of Rostov Oblast by train. Ukrainian citizens were met in the North station by employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the city administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.

— Today, we were expecting the arrival of 227 citizens from Ukraine, they should have had 68 children, but in fact, here came much more, about 280 people, also about 15 more children arrived, — said in an interview with Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on RT, Andrey Orlov. — TACs are based on hotels, hospices, hostels. And now camps with year-round habitation are exempting, so that they could live in the winter. We try to meet the priority needs of the people, so that they were fed and employed.
