On September 13, 2014 at 13:34 via the single emergency call number 112 there was reported a capsizing and sinking of “Kazanka-5” boat which was carrying four men in 800 meters from the coast of the Volga near village Staroe Arakchino of Kirov District of Kazan. All of them fell into the water.

A group of IDPs from the south-east of Ukraine composed of 12 people arrived to Kazan North Railway Station, today. EMERCOM of Russia representatives met the Ukrainian civilians and organized their delivery to the temporary accommodation place.

The command of Volga Regional Search and Rescue Squad of EMERCOM of Russia composed of rescuers of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny branch of PRPSO of EMERCOM of Russia won in overall of XI All-Russian Competitions of Search and Rescue Cynology Units of EMERCOM of Russia. The competitions ended recently in Novosibirsk. According personal achievements Tatarstanians brought from the Siberian capital four medals — two gold and two silver ones.

In order to prevent fire safety at homes units of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan hold systematic and planning work. Workers of the separate post of village Bukharay of Nizhnekamsky squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the deputy head of executive committee of Novospassk rural settlement held a round of 12 residential houses of Novospassk village of Zainsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Incidents for September 11:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 65 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 7, dry grass extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, 3 of them in residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, incorrect installation and defect in heating stove and chimney – 1, carelessness when smoking – 1,  violation of fire safety rules during heating stove use – 1, careless handling of fire – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 18 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 6.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 16 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, traffic accident – 2, searching for lost in forest (Tukayevsky District – woman was not found; Laishevsky District – man was found) – 2, searching for lost on the water (Nizhnekamsky District – man was not found) – 1, diving descent – 1, open lesson at school – 2, safety provision at event – 1, others – 3.

Activities in the frame of All-Russian Children’s Safety in Tatarstan are going on. On September 11, 2014 at 15:50 there was held a training evacuation in IT-Lyceum of Kazan Federal University. Not only the object’s Volunteer Fire Department, but also students’ Volunteer Fire Command of Universiade Village and Federal Fire Service forces worked their actions.

A new fire station in village Morty was decided to be built three years ago, when during a severe drought due to dry winds there were big fires in some villages. That is why local program on recovering fire stations was accepted. And today, long-awaited moment in village Morty has come. Minister of civil defense and emergency situations of RT, Rafis Khabibullin and head of Yelabuzhsky District, Gennady Yemelyanov participated in the solemn opening ceremony.

Today, press conference on the upcoming September 14 elections of deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the fifth convocation was held in informational agency “Tatar-Inform”. Chairman of the Central Election Commission of RT, Ekzam Gubaidullin, as well as the head of the organization of public order and the interaction between the executive authorities of RT and local governments of the Interior Ministry for RT, police colonel, Ramil Nugumanov, and deputy head of the supervisory activities of HQ EMERCOM of Russia for RT, lieutenant colonel of internal service, Maksim Truschin performed in front of journalists and Internet users online.

Today, another separate post of state institution “Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan” was opened solemnly. That time 8 settlements of Tukaevsky District of Tatarstan came under protection of republican firefighters. The opening ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan led by its chief, lieutenant-general of internal service, Rafis Khabibullin.

The console of single dispatch service of Laishevsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan was reported that today, a student born in 2001 left home in village Peschanye Kovali at 12 o’clock and did not return. Joint searches by forces of EMERCOM, Interior Ministry, the district administration and local residents are being held until now.
