Characteristic Incidents for Last Day

Incidents for September 11:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 65 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 7, dry grass extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, 3 of them in residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, incorrect installation and defect in heating stove and chimney – 1, carelessness when smoking – 1,  violation of fire safety rules during heating stove use – 1, careless handling of fire – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 18 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 6.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 16 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, traffic accident – 2, searching for lost in forest (Tukayevsky District – woman was not found; Laishevsky District – man was found) – 2, searching for lost on the water (Nizhnekamsky District – man was not found) – 1, diving descent – 1, open lesson at school – 2, safety provision at event – 1, others – 3.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
