During four days employees of the First Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan have demonstrated their professional skills at competitions on battle deployment on a training polygon. The competitions were attended by 48 duty guards each consisting of 5 people from 12 fire departments of OFPS-1.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 40 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, burnt meal – 3 cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 3 fires, including 3 in the residential sector. 1 person died.

The report on that a man was sinking in the river Cheremshan was received from an unknown witness on March 9, 2016 at 7:35 A.M. The man was going over the river and suddenly went down through the ice.

Fire department of the separate post of the 24th fire department was opened after an overhaul in Aznakayevo. The solemn ceremony of acceptance of its new building was attended by Chief of NGDU “Aznakayevneft”, Marat Zialilov and Chief of the Second Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan, Farit Khusainov.

On March 8 from 6:00 P.M., in connection with increasing average daily temperature and decreasing strength of the ice on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, there was temporarily stopped the operation of an ice passage over the Volga in the city okrug of Kazan on the route the village of Arakchino – the village of Verkhny Uslon (distance 3 km 200 m, width 40 m).

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, including 3 in the residential sector, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 3, various types of property – 1, garden houses – 1.

The plan of activities on spending the Year of Fire Service was approved in the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. The plan envisages activities directed to growing up professional skills of the staff of fire and rescue formations, improvement of operative respond to fires extinguishing and holding rescue operations during traffic accident consequences liquidation, developing volunteering, popularization of the profession of firefighter and rescuer, and further development of applied fire sports in the Republic of Tatarstan. Firefighters will get high technology means of fire extinguishing and rescuing, modern equipment and outfit.
