On June 21, 2016, at 2 o’clock at night duty freelance inspector of Zelenodolsk Inspectorial Department of GIMS, Igor Demyanenko, received a call on a drowning man. As it became known later, a local resident being intoxicated by alcohol make his mind to swim over the Volga in the dead of night. The man “started” from the ferry on the side of Zelenodolsk.

Employees of Zelenodolsk Inspection Department of GIMS held another raid visiting favorite places of unauthorized swimming of Zelenodolsk citizens. Despite numerous hazard warnings and in connection with the settled summer weather, wishers of holidaymaking on “wild” beaches do not decrease. People do not embarrass of trash, fittings sticking out of the water, cracked glass, hidden in the sand after previous holidaymakers’ visit.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 83 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 38, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, burnt meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 15, others – 2. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, residential sector – 6.

At once three rescue services of Kazan arrived today to “Polyot” children’s health camp, but not for an emergency, on the contrary, in order to prevent it. Rescuers of the Office of Civil Protection of the city of Kazan, employees of Kazan “OSVOD” and Kazan department of the Center of GIMS of EMERCOM of Russia for RT organized for holidaymaking children, among which there are pupils of the orphanage of Volga District of Kazan, a funny quest to the city of safety, namely to the safety on the water in summer period.

In 1996 there was signed the order on establishment of searching cynology service of “Centrospas” squad, and since that time quadruped fighters became an integral part of rescue teams. Today, the service consists of more than 600 cynology units of federal, municipal, freelance and public rescue formations in every region of the country.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, residential sector – 6. 10 people were rescued.

The victim in a state of extreme intoxication was in his inflatable rubber boat on the river Volga in 40 meters from the shore. He had just fallen asleep. And his friend who was on the shore at that time sounded the alarm. Zelenodolsk Inspectorial Department of the Center of GIMS of EMERCOM of Russia for RT arrived to the scene. At 7:37 P.M., GIMS employees found the citizen born in 1985.

On June 16, a 14-year-old teenager, a student of Kulaevo secondary school, drowned saving a 9-year-old drowning boy in Pestretsy District on the river Myosha. 15 volunteers explored both banks of the river 300 meters up and down the stream. But there were no results. At 5:16 P.M. the boy’s body was found at the depth of 4 meters and 8 meters from the steep bank of Myosha by divers of Zonal Search and Rescue Squad No. 2 who arrived from Kazan.
