More than 100 People Were Saved on Fire in Naberezhnye Chelny

At 0:24 P.M., there was received a report on fire in an apartment on the 3rd floor of a 9-floor building in Naberezhnye Chelny. The fire spread to three apartments through balconies. 104 people were evacuated from the building’s entrances. 6 people were saved from a zone of thick smoke from upstairs by units of gas and smoke protection service with the help of rescue masks. Firefighters took one girl (not walking disabled) out on their hands. Another seven people were rescued by a fire motor ladder.

At 1:30 P.M. the fire on the area of 180 sq. meters was eliminated. There were no injured. Its cause is being ascertained.
