Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, residential sector – 3.

Festive opening of Applied Fire Sports Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Olympics standings of District Board No. 2 “Dinamo” took place today on Kazan stadium “Tasma”, where women compete the first time at the republican level event. The competitions were opened be the Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel Irek Kadamov. According to team results, the team of the city of Almetyevsk got the winner’s cup. Appliers from Nizhnekamsk climbed up on the second step of the pedestal and Kazan sportsmen took the third place.

Nearly a hundred sportsmen from all departments of the republic will try racing tracks of the city stadium “Tasma”, where Applied Fire Sports Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held two days in the Olympics standings of District Board No. 2 “Dinamo”. The competitions program includes three kinds of sports: climbing up by assault ladder to the window of the training tower, hundred meters obstacle course and fire relay race.

On June 15, 124 years ago, All-Russian Gathering of Russian Workers of Fire Service unanimously recognized the vital creation of Fire Society by approving the draft of Charter of Society. In 1958, in order to increase the role of society in fighting against fires, there was created Tatarstanian Republican Voluntary Fire Association through the reorganization of Kazanian Voluntary Fire Association.

On June 15, 1984, by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of RSFSR No. 259 there was organized State Inspectorate for Small Vessels within the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services based on rescue service on the water and the State Inspection situated in OSVOD.

‘Hold the rope correctly and throw “Alexandrov’s End” further so that a drowning could grapple it’, taught an employee of the press service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan children who were making holiday at the camp of the school No. 99.
